This area of research aims to come to grips (in the European Union's current climate) with changes in the educational environment and changes in public policies on education and training within specific contexts, and their application in academic and non-academic environments.
What changes are we seeing in establishments and schools, local partnerships, and even educational practices, concerning questions like equity, social cohesion, work relationships and the job market? What changes to we see regarding gender issues? How are things developing on the delicate question of racial/ethnic classifications? How to we manage disabilities? What kind of interaction could we foresee between these topics of research and proposals for educational engineering? The objective is to participate in the development of scientific knowledge while also helping teaching professionals and trainers make the best possible use of this knowledge.
