International Symposium, "New Issues on Teacher Education" (ISNITE 2016), will be held on August 30-September 1, 2016 at the University of Eastern Finland, in Savonlinna, Finland.

The main goal of ISNITE 2016 is to offer a forum where participants share both theoretical and practical perspectives in the field of teacher education. The aim is to keep up with the latest developments in the field of teacher education and reasearch, and encourage interaction among researchers, practitioners and teacher educators and create a foundation for future studies in this field.

Call for papers

The official symposium language is English and therefore all presentations and papers submitted should be in English. Abstracts need to be between 350-500 words long, given a concise statement of the intention, method, results and conclusions of the paper. Participants should present research results on theoretical or practical issues. Details on the submission will be updated on the Submissions page. Selected papers will be invited to be submitted for publication in the Journal of Teacher Education and Educators (JTEE - www.jtee.org)

The symposium is organized by the Philosophical Faculty, the School of Applied Educational Science and Teacher Education of the University of Eastern Finland, is also supported by the "Journal of Teacher Education and Educators".
