Cela ne sera possible qu'en fournissant une aide à l'apprentissage réellement adaptée à l'apprenant. Pour une réalisation d'un tel système, plusieurs composantes sont à prendre en compte comme la connaissance à faire acquérir, l'apprenant, la situation d'apprentissage...L'outil que nous proposons permet l'apprentissage d'une connaissance fonctionnelle en prenant appui sur le &quot;précurseur&quot; adéquat. Les contraintes de charge cognitive ont également été prises en compte et l'analogie privilégiée. La nécessité d'une caractérisation précise de la situation d'apprentissage a été mise en évidence. In order to give more coherence to the content taught, the place and definition of the school subjects involved tend to be reexamined. In France, an integrated science and technology teaching program is being tested since 2006. A first analysis of the program and the way participating teachers view it has been done from the definition of several strategies to bring disciplines together. Four dimensions of school disciplinary integration have been identified to structure our reflexion. Dans ce contexte d’enseignement traditionnel, très largement répandu actuellement, l’enseignant, notamment celui de sciences physiques, les cours magistraux dominent et visent à transmettre aux élèves des connaissances théoriques, privilégiant ainsi l'enseignement des connaissances scientifiques au détriment d’autres connaissances à caractère social. Notre recherche vise à regarder les conditions d’intégration de l’approche par projet dans l'éducation au développement durable dans le cadre de l’enseignement des sciences physique dans les écoles secondaires.&lt;br/&gt;Nous avons proposé aux professeurs enseignant les sciences physiques en classe de terminale un scénario d’étude et de réalisation d’un four solaire. À ce niveau, les élèves ont suivi un programme de thermodynamique en fin de seconde et sur l’optique géométrique première. La transition école normale-IUFM indiquait clairement cette universitarisation ; pour le 2nd degré, ce processus n’est pas aussi clair et continue d’opposer la formation disciplinaire au sens universitaire à la formation professionnelle telle qu’elle était pratiquée dans les centres pédagogiques régionaux (CPR). La place de la recherche en éducation témoigne de sa très faible institutionnalisation universitaire et les IUFM ont joué un rôle déterminant pour l’accroître et la développer. De nombreux champs se sont développés – didactique des disciplines, ergonomie des professions enseignantes, anthropologie scolaire, traitement des difficultés d’apprentissage ou d’intégration scolaire, etc. – dans le cadre d’unités de recherche qui se sont multipliées et ont été labellisées jusqu’à la création de structures fédératives de recherche en éducation qui visent à organiser le paysage régional en la matière ; ces initiatives cachent mal la faiblesse générale de la recherche en éducation en France.&lt;br/&gt;Dans ce contexte, quel sens donner à l’initiation à la recherche dans la formation des enseignants ? Dans un monde idéal, les masters de formation professionnelle devraient être adossés à la recherche, mais laquelle ? Les IUFM répondent spontanément : la recherche en éducation ; les UFR répondent avec la même spontanéité la recherche scientifique développée dans leurs laboratoires. Les premiers arguent de la nécessité de rapprocher les futurs enseignants de la production des connaissances sur les processus d’enseignement-apprentissage ; les seconds arguent que les futurs enseignants doivent connaitre les processus d’élaboration scientifique des connaissances scientifiques qu’ils auront à enseigner. Cet adossement renvoie à la même opposition professionnel-disciplinaire jusqu’à le caricaturer dans une opposition pratique-théorique. Certains résolvent le problème en essayant de faire évoluer le mémoire professionnel pour le tirer vers un mémoire de recherche, d’autres tentent de renforcer l’universitarisation de la professionnalisation au travers de l’opérationnalisation de concepts tels que celui de praticien réflexif… Dans les deux cas, on aboutit à une forme d’impasse de la valorisation du caractère professionnel par la référence à la recherche (on retrouve ce même constat sur les thèses de médecine qui ne contribuent pas réellement au développement des recherches en médecine). Une chose est l’acquisition des concepts qui fondent l’exercice du métier d’enseignant, autre chose est l’apprentissage d’une pratique professionnelle qui intègre ces concepts et les organise en compétences et connaissances professionnelles. L’évaluation du niveau de maitrise atteint par un étudiant doit pouvoir mesurer sa capacité d’intégration entre ce qu’il acquiert sur le terrain et ce qu’il acquiert à l’université. This construction, from the European Economic Community to the union of the citizens, is widely based on the harmonisation of the educational policies of the Member States; it privileges the mobility of the students, teachers, and executives of education. However, school and university systems differ extensively from country to country. For example, the passage from elementary school to secondary education does not occur at the same age in different countries. The same diversity can be seen at the university level, including, for example, the duration of studies necessary to complete a doctorate degree (from six to nine years). The Bologna process has been established to bring about European harmonisation in university courses in each of the Member States.&lt;br/&gt;The training of teachers in Europe is particularly diverse, with some trained in faculties of education, others in vocational schools, and others learning their role through on-the-job training. To this diversity in terms of place and duration of courses is added differences in curricula as well as the different kinds of institutions which organise this formation. The difference between courses for teachers training in a faculty of education and those offered to new teachers not having received any formal teacher education before finding themselves in front of a class characterises the value attributed to the job of teacher and to the professional competencies required to practice. Compared to specific educational training in the first case, the role of ‘teacher’ is too often returned to a category of ‘transmitter of knowledge’  in the second case, where only a solid academic knowledge of the field is required; it is necessary (and it is sufficient) to be good in mathematics to be a good teacher of mathematics. Such general considerations significantly impact views of the role of teachers, for which there is a real disparity between the various European countries.&lt;br/&gt;This communication presents the teacher education in France that has needed to undergo significant reforms as a result of the Bologna process. The examples demonstrate the role and place occupied by schools and, consequently, the role and place granted to teachers and their training. From the French academic institutes constrained within an old Jacobin tradition, we will examine how teachers’ education and training are organised, and through this which values and social images of the job are promoted. This process is first and foremost a cultural one; it is a matter of leading children to acquire knowledge that is socially shared by society. Beyond the social sharing of existing knowledge, gateways for children to enter the adult world are also targeted. One of the roles of schooling is a social role which aims to educate our future citizens by allowing them to build the knowledge they will need in order to be able to live and act responsibly within our societies. The notion of school's social role exists from the moment that a society, using its political leverage, decides to hand responsibility for passing on the social knowledge that governs it to a teacher, so that children use the learning of such knowledge to evolve socially. From this point onwards, studying different facets of the teaching-learning process becomes particularly meaningful in defining the cultural transmission of knowledge. Une centaine de personnes, acteurs de l’enseignement des sciences, ont échangé et réfléchi sur le thème des démarches d’investigation dans les enseignements scientifiques en France. L’ouvrage est construit en trois parties autour de trois grandes questions : Comment définir et mettre en oeuvre des enseignements fondés sur des démarches d’investigation ? Quel est le rôle des aspects collectifs du travail enseignant dans le développement de cette approche de l’enseignement ? En quoi les démarches d’investigation et le travail collectif enseignant peuvent‐ils contribuer à l’évolution des conceptions de l’enseignement et des pratiques danset hors la classe ? Chaque partie comporte un chapitre qui vise à faire le point sur l’avancée des recherches relatives aux questions traitées. En complément, d’autres contributions, ayant une visée praxéologique, permettent d’interroger des expériences d’enseignement, des dispositifs de formation et de mise à disposition de ressources pour les enseignants. Chacune de ces contributions propose des pistes d’action pour la classe ou pour la formation des enseignants. Tout comme le projet S‐TEAM, cet ouvrage fait appel aux recherches portant sur la didactique des disciplines, l’ingénierie de formation, la coopération enseignante, les stratégies d’enseignement et les processus d’apprentissage. Cet article analyse les savoirs sous jacents aux pratiques des professionnels et montre comment à partir de ces pratiques il est possible de penser un champ de références. Pour cela, nous avons procédé à l’enregistrement audiovisuel de la journée de travail de deux professionnels intervenants dans le domaine de l’installation et de la maintenance des systèmes énergétiques et climatiques.
